Managing Attorney of the Los Angeles office of Chubb’s California House Counsel operation. Responsible for managing the operations of the Los Angeles office ensuring that quality legal representation is provided on all matters referred by Chubb Claims and quality service is provided to clients and Claim colleagues. Supervise attorneys and staff on all matters; maintain highest ethical standards in all aspects of the office’s law practice and adhere to the Chubb Code of Conduct; maintain cost efficient operations of the office; maintain office budget and personnel management; provide strategic analysis and planning for office.
- Candidate must possess a Juris Doctorate from an accredited law school and be licensed to practice law in California.
- Minimum of 15 years’ experience as an attorney with active civil litigation and trial experience at a high level of technical competence on cases with complex legal issues before state and federal courts. Preferably, experience should include insurance defense including negligence, products and premises liability, automobile accidents, property damage, employment law and errors and omissions.
- Strong skills in case analysis, written and verbal advocacy and negotiations. Demonstrated organizational, managerial, and leadership abilities through hands on management of law firm or law office in private practice, corporation or government. Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to communicate effectively within an organizational structure. Superior strategic development and implementation skills.
