Position Description/Job Responsibilities:

 

  • This position is a contract position (short term and long term assignments possible)
  • This position is a highly experienced attorney who has developed significant expertise in one or more substantive areas of the law.
  • This position needs a candidate with broad-based transactional experience with International EPC projects
  • This position has substantial responsibility for complex legal matters and provides advice and counsel to internal clients without supervision.
  • Review and negotiation of contracts related to projects (vendor contracts, exceptions, forms, etc. including drafting contract documents including large International EPC projects
  • This position often provides training and guidance to less experienced attorneys and is often engaged in large longer-term projects.

Develop standardized processes.


Requirements/Qualifications:

  • J.D. Texas Licensed Attorney with 10+ years of experience  
  • Broad-based transactional experience including international projects
  • Familiar with Compliance / Anti-Corruption
  • Team Player
  • Strong communicator with employees of all levels
  • Ability to establish and maintain credibility and trust throughout the organization
  • Ability to quickly assimilate information relating to complex issues
  • Personal and professional maturity
  • Organizational knowledge
  • Working knowledge of applicable laws and regulations
