Honesty is the most important thing that a lawyer should have. So be honest and admit something that weakens your case rather than hides it. When you are trying to hide something it will get worse and creates some bad impression. The next thing is your appearance in court including your dressing style. Courts including General District Courts/Small Claims Courts have a formal setting nature. So always being formal wear nice and clean clothes, Address the court in a formal manner and keep courtesy when connecting with other people in the courtroom.

 

One of the important factors for a lawyer to succeed in the legal profession is the teamwork. Always work as a team, client and a lawyer formulate a team. It is the responsibility of a lawyer to organize and present the case in court but a client should keep in mind that it is your case. If you are communicating with your lawyer properly and work as a team then the effectiveness of the presentation by the lawyer will automatically increase. A lawyer also needs confidence.
